Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of or in connection with the use of this website.

Terms and Conditions of Service

1.0 Introduction

1.1 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros is a service delivery platform operated by Perfectionism Services Pty Ltd - ACN 608 078 146.

1.2 Please read these terms and conditions carefully. They cancel and replace any previous versions. By registering on or using our Website (as defined below) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please print or save these terms for future use as we will not keep a file copy specifically for the transaction with you and we cannot guarantee that they will remain accessible on our Website in future.

 

2.0 Very Important

2.1 We act as a booking agent for Service Providers. The terms and conditions comprise (1) a contract between you and us regarding the use of our Website and (2) a separate direct contract between you and the Service Provider concerned (and not with us) regarding supply of Services to you.

2.2 While we may attempt to assist with resolution of any complaint or dispute, you acknowledge that any legal recourse against the Service Provider arising from the Services whether for breach of contract or otherwise is against the Service Provider and not against us, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this agreement or on our Website.

2.3 We do not accept legal responsibility for any acts or omissions of Service Providers in relation the Services.

2.4 Where we describe Service Providers as “vetted” or similar, we are promising only that we have carried out certain checks and that those checks did not reveal any cause for concern. You acknowledge that in carrying out these checks we are reliant on information supplied by third parties. We cannot guarantee that that information is accurate. Nor can we guarantee that the Service Providers are otherwise suitable for your purposes. You use Service Providers at your risk.

 

3.0 Supply of Services

3.1 You agree to treat Service Providers courteously and lawfully. You agree to provide a safe and appropriate working environment for Service Providers in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and that you will provide reasonable co-operation to Service Providers to enable them to supply Services.

3.2 You agree to communicate any complaints to us and not the Service Provider. You agree to comply with our complaint and other policies on our Website as may be varied from time to time.

3.3 You acknowledge that your nominated Service Provider may be unavailable from time to time e.g. through illness or vacation or leaving our service.

3.4 You agree that during the period of this agreement you will not book any services from, or engage, any Service Provider other than via 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros. You agree not to engage any Service Provider for 6 months after termination of this agreement.

 

4.0 Independence

4.1 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros hand picks each Service Provider based on their reputation, their insurance coverage, their time in business, and their commitment to our standard operating procedures.

4.2 Each Service Provider is bound by our operating agreement and failure to comply with that agreement results in a cessation of certification process. We do all the work for you, we thoroughly review each window cleaner before we recommend them as the best in your suburb.

 

5.0 Payments

5.1 Payments are due at the completion of the works.

5.2 We accept cash, cheque, or credit card payments only.

5.3 We will send a tax receipt via email within 24 hours of the completion of the job.

5.4 Commercial accounts may be paid post-invoice, on strict 7 day terms. We reserve the right to charge a 10% late fee if the account is unpaid in 7 days.

 

6.0 Contracts

6.1 Oral contracts are typical in our industry. Once a quote is accepted either orally or via email, the job will be scheduled.

6.2 Clients are asked to provide a minimum of 48 hours notice if they need to re-schedule (this does not include weather related postponements). If the client does not provide the minimum notice time we reserve the right to charge a $50 re-scheduling fee. Missing an appointment has the ability to drastically affect other scheduled appointments. Please understand that this fee doesn't even cover the inconvenience for us, our technicians, and other clients. In order to avoid the fee please make an effort to keep your appointment.

 

7.0 Weather

7.1 On occasion we may have to re-schedule your job due to poor weather (or the forecast of such). Generally we are able to complete the job if there is light rain. However, if we deem to conditions to be unsafe, or deem the likelihood of such to occur on the scheduled day, we reserve the right to change your booking.

7.2 Neither you nor we are liable for failure to perform or delay in performing any obligation (excluding payment) under this agreement if the failure or delay is caused by any circumstances beyond your or our reasonable control including third party telecommunication failures.

 

8.0 General Liability

8.1 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros is a service delivery platform. We source Service Providers in each area that we deem to be the most professional. Each Service Provider agrees to operate according to our standard operating procedure. Any work derived from customers calling 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros will be forwarded to our network of professional Service Providers, for a nominal referral fee.

8.2 All work carried out will be the responsibility of the chosen Service Provider as per their standard terms and conditions. No liability will fall upon 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros for any work performed by the Service Providers.

 

9.0 Scratch Liability

9.1 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros sources the most professional window cleaning Service Providers in your area, those that have a reputation for employing industry best practices to clean your glass and widows. Whether they are performing a regular window clean, or a post-construction clean, we will not be held liable for any scratches to the glass that are uncovered as a result of our cleaning.

9.2 Client agrees and understands that 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros has no control over any other tradesmen and/or other contractors that may come into contact with said glass, and that 1300 SQUEEGEE Pros will not be held liable for any damage, marks, blemishes, etc., that any other tradesmen and/or other contractors may have created on glass during manufacturing, delivery, installation, and/or any finishing operations on said glass and/or surrounding frames.
